Anna is a Law Graduate of Newcastle University, and a Masters’ graduate from Queen’s University, Belfast. She has a Diploma in Montessori Education, a Post Graduate Certificate in Early years and Primary Education, a Post Graduate Diploma in Play Therapy, and is a TraumaPlay certified therapist supervised and led by Play therapist Paris Goodyear-Brown. Anna is currently completing an AuDHD Coaching course.

She is also a registered member of Play Therapy UK and an individual member of British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapy.

Anna has always had a passion for working with young children. After the completion of her Law Degree, she returned to this vocation by studying a Diploma and working in Montessori education. For three years, she taught in St Kilian's German School, Dublin, a bi-lingual Kindergarten with a European inspired play-based curriculum. This influenced her desire to learn in more depth about early childhood development and curricula. She then completed a Masters' in Early Childhood Studies, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Early Years and Primary Education.

Her Masters research was published in the International Journal of Early Years Education in 2016 which was based upon an analysis of the emersion of the Aistear curriculum guidance within the first two years of Primary Schools in Ireland. This policy was created as a result of early years curriculum guidelines from the United Nations.

Anna then gained further shorter-term experience in a variety of curricula, and year groups, in the UK, and Ireland. Relocating full-time to London, she worked as a Reception teacher at Merchant Taylors' Prep School, Hertfordshire, and Head of Reception (Pastoral) at Wetherby School, Notting Hill.

Anna’s expertise involves supporting children who are highly gifted or neurodivergent (with ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and Developmental Delays). She also specialises in helping children process trauma such as bereavement and divorce of parents.

Anna’s child therapy experience over the last 8 years has involved group and one-to-one sessions with children aged 3 to 14 years-old, predominantly who attend London independent day schools. Anna works in schools and privately.
